The Ring Summer Criterium Series heads to Bunbury for the fourth round of the series this weekend.

The event on 4 February will be raced on a closed circuit in the Bunbury CBD with the first race from 7am.

With Jessica Allen and Stephen Hall both out of this weekend’s race, it presents an opportunity for other riders to make ground up on the A grade men and women leaders.

Scott Sunderland is racing again this weekend and could make up some ground after missing the first two rounds of the season.

Tim Sellar has also been strong to start the series and will see this is a great opportunity.

Emily Mascaro has been strong all season long and could take over Allen as the leader in the women’s A grade with two second places already this series.

Danica and Emily Wiggins are both on top of women’s B and C grade respectively, but will face challenges from Claudia Dohr and Isabella Commons in their respective grades.

There are four riders within four points in men’s D grade with Brian Johnson on top.

In the under 13s, Rusty Wisewould is on top of the standings with Samuel Castle only 10 points behind.

Heyden Ivins is in a good position in the mixed E grade.

Thanks to the host club, the South West Cycle Club with Rob Commons, Jo Moore, the committee and the team.
