  • The Ring returns to the streets of Leederville again in 2018
  • Some of WA’s elite riders, as well as families and children will have the opportunity to ride on the closed, car free streets of Leederville

The Ring Super Criterium supported by The City of Vincent is being held on Oxford Street in Leederville on Sunday 25th March 2018. This event follows on from the very successful Ring Encore 2017, which drew significant new crowds to Leederville.

Running times of the event are:

  • Sunday 25th March 2018
  • Racing commences at 11:50am and concludes at 5:00pm
  • Road Closures 11am to 6pm.

Road closures / traffic management

During the event, local traffic will not be provided access to the event area. The only vehicles that can enter the closures are emergency services if deemed necessary. Traffic controllers will monitor nearby driveways and properties to ensure traffic does not egress into the event area. Carr Place access & egress will be maintained by traffic controllers.

Vincent Street will be closed between the Mitchell Freeway on/off ramp / Leederville Parade intersection & Loftus Street. Eastbound traffic shall be informed to follow the detour via Leederville Parade. Westbound traffic shall be detoured south onto Loftus Street and right onto Leederville Parade.

Newcastle Street will be closed between Oxford Street & Loftus Street. Westbound traffic shall be detoured southbound onto Loftus Street and onto Leederville Parade. No detour will be necessary for eastbound traffic as Oxford Street will be closed.

Oxford Street will be closed between Melrose Street & Leederville Parade. Southbound traffic shall be detoured around the closure via Richmond Street & Loftus Street. Local traffic shall be allowed access & egress at Melrose Street.
